Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions you may have at this time. For anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Can you livestream from a location that doesn’t have internet or power?

Yes, we use remote, high speed internet technology and portable power to ensure reliability wherever the service is. Graveside service or burial streaming is available.

Do we need any special technology to access the stream?

No. The stream is visible on any internet connected and compatible device such as your mobile phone, computer or smart TV. Depending on where your viewers are in the world, there may be unavoidable geo-restrictions for some platforms.

Will we get a copy of the recording?

Yes, we stream in High Definition (1080p) which will remain available to you for 6 months at the original link, and we will provide you (the family or primary contact) with an offline copy of the recording.

How much disruption do the cameras and set up create for the service and guests?

We aim to have a minimal presence and ideally are not noticed by attendees during the service. We set at least two tripods plus our control tripod (minimum three in total). We arrive and set up before guests arrive and pack down following the conclusion. Our footprint is small and unobtrusive.

How many cameras do you use?

Our standard camera suite is three live cameras, providing coverage of all aspects of a standard service to share the experience comprehensively online. Extra cameras are available.

Can you help with printing our order of service?

Yes, we have a selection of design options for order of services. Please select this option in the booking form and we will we will provide costs and work with you on the content and final proof. Variations beyond our standard formats and design templates are limited but can be discussed.

How far in advance do we need to book?

We understand that there are short turn-around times for funerals, with not only the personal loss to come to terms with, but the often first-time logistics to confirm and decisions to make. Please contact us as soon as you are aware of the date and location to ensure we can provide an obligation-free quote and confirm the booking with you smoothly.

What areas do you service?

We service all areas within 60kms of Melbourne’s CBD. Additional travel fee will apply for other areas of Victoria.

Will you provide a link that we can send to our guests before the service? Can it be private?

Yes, we’ll provide a link to your dedicated page on our website containing your stream, image and comment section. Viewers need access to the internet and a suitable device (phone, tablet, computer) to view the stream. You can choose to make it available on our ‘live’ page so viewers can find it easily or private so you decide who has the link.

Can you also take care of the audio for us?

Yes, we can provide full audio services, including equipment hire and live audio mixing for your videos, music, speakers, and live musicians. We will bring this audio into the live streamed, online experience.

Can you include any other footage, in addition to the live stream?

Yes, we can provide an edit with a short sequence of introductory footage and closing footage within the quote.

What if the stream fails?

Whilst we provide high speed internet with bonded cellular techonology and plan for all foreseeable tech issues, external factors may cause a stream to fail. Viewers will be notified on the page and be able to watch the raw recording as soon as we have uploaded it after the service.

We are expecting a large attendance and need more audio visual equipment. Can you help?

Yes. Our standard PA system is suitable for up to pproximately 500 people, and can be used as a stand-alone system or to extend a venue’s system. Beyond this, speak to us about a customised system to ensure your needs are met.

We want to have live musicians. How many can you handle?

We have a 48 channel professional digital mixer which can handle a large group easily. Whether you have one singer, many instruments, or a medium-sized choir, our operator can facilitate audio for both the in-house attendees and the online audience.

Do you require payment upfront?

Yes, full prepayment is required for first time customers. On confirmation of your booking, we’ll provide you with an invoice to be paid in full prior to the service.
